St Andrews – Old Course

The Old Course also know as ‘The Old Lady’ is the oldest and most iconic golf course in the world. The Swilcan Bridge and the Road Hole Bunker are recognised across the globe, yet the greatest feature of the Old Course is that, despite its grand status, it remains a public golf course.

The feeling as you tee the ball up on the 1st tee at The Old Course is like no other, it is without a doubt a very special place. The front nine may be considered a tad bland, but the finishing six holes are tremendous, playing back in towards the stunning views of the St Andrews town.

Twenty eight Open Championships have taken place at The Old Course, and The Open is again returning in 2015. It will also stage the 150th Open Championship in 2021.
